Makeover Monday: TimberTech Deck in Catonsville, Maryland

When it’s time to consider investing in a deck makeover, homeowners are usually left with a few options. Just because your deck’s stairs, rails, and planking are in bad shape, doesn’t necessarily mean the entire structure has to be torn down and replaced. On the other hand, you don’t want to gamble with the safety of those who’ll be enjoying your deck, including family members and friends. Our Maryland fence and deck installation company can help determine if your deck’s posts and framework are structurally sound enough to support a redecking project over a total replacement.

Jake Wolod, one of our knowledgeable Project Consultants, met with homeowners to discuss their vision for the existing space. Once it was determined that their current deck was extremely unsafe and not up to code, Jake helped design a beautifully modern composite deck that will last for years to come.

We first demoed the existing deck and built a new freestanding structure. The new structure supports 160 sq. ft. of TimberTech Reserve composite decking in the stunning Driftwood hue. All colors in the Reserve Collection showcase a vivid and elegant blend of colors. Inspired by reclaimed wood, the heavy wire-brushed finish highlights a classic cathedral wood grain and offers superior slip resistance.
